March Meeting of Formby Parish Council

image from formbyfirst.typepad.com Formby Parish Council will be holding it's usual monthly meeting tomorrow, 1st March at 7.00pm in Formby Library.

Members of the public are invited to attend, they can make contributions and ask questions in the part of the meeting called, The Public Forum. This is always at the very start of each meeting so residents can make a contribution and leave if they wish.

Rural Issues Forum

We spent some time reflecting on a recently published paper about the Big Society and identifying some of the ways in which this idea and the Localism Bill will provide opportunities for Parish and Town Councils to become even more engaged with their local communities.
