Weekends in Formby are very busy in July. There are lots of events going on. The biggest and most noticeable is The FormbyLive Music Festival. The organisers describe it as:
Formby's very own music festival, is now in it's 4th year and will be bigger and better than ever before! With the main events taking place over the weekend of 6th - 8th July, there will be performances from national, and local artists in venues throughout the Village culminating in a full day of music.
On Sunday, 8th of July, there will be a full programme of great entertainment at Formby Pool where The Merseycats will again be putting on a Rock 'n' Roll extravaganza throughout the day.For all the details vist the web site at http://www.formbylive.co.uk/
