Fortunately Sefton MBC are resurfacing the road from Victoria Road to Derby Road. As a cyclist who has regularly used the road I am delighted. It’s been a dangerous nightmare to cycle along, this image shows why.
There's at least three previous road surfaces visible in this example and it's around three inches deep. The resurfacing which starts on 10 September will see an end to the dangers posed to cyclists in the last two years or more.
