Sefton Cares Campaign

Sefton Council invites you to care for your neighbours and the lonely.

Sefton_council_logoAs the winter nights draw in Sefton Council, in partnership with Sefton CVS, have launched the Sefton Cares campaign to encourage people to look in on a relative, friend or neighbour for a brew and a chat to help them feel less isolated.

Spending just a few minutes with someone you know can help them feel less isolated and more connected with the community. You may be the only friendly face they see from one day to the next......

M & J' Restaurant Opening

Latest News on M&J's Restaurant Opening. I've found the following on Brock Carmichaels Architects web site. Must be very soon to judge by appearances.

M&Js Restaurant

LATEST: One of the contractors told me it would be on 27 December. But that's not official. (3.30pm)

"Brock Carmichael is currently on site with a new 280 cover concept restaurant in Formby, near Liverpool.

The restaurant has been modelled around a state of the art kitchen, designed to provide up to 2000 meals per day to both take away and eat-in diners, cooking all food fresh and on demand.

Brock Carmichael have worked tirelessly with the client to hone a difficult brief and deliver, on a tight timescale, a high standard of finish that complements the quality of the end product.

Expected completion December 2014."

The size of the venture is breathtaking up to 280 customers at any time and a total 2000 meals a day. I wonder how that affect the traffic at the Tesco roundabout and traffic lights?
