This Christmas, The Black-E Liverpool will transform into an enchanted castle as Liverpool based theatre company Drops of Light CIC present their festive offering for 2017, Beauty & the Beast.
Formby born Tori Hargreaves will play the role of Beauty.
Tori was born and raised in Formby trained in acting at Arts Education School London where she currently resides. She has previously enjoyed success in a number of roles most notably appearing in Bill Kenwright’s Blood Brothers. Tori is delighted to be returning to her native Formby for the festive season
Staged in one of Liverpool’s most iconic arts buildings The Black-E, Great George Street from 6th – 31st December, Beauty and the Beast offers a magical setting for families to enjoy a unique Christmas treat with a reimagining of the classic fairytale. The 350 seat capacity venue will be transformed into an enchanted castle to stage Beauty and the Beast, the first ever pantomime to be staged at TheBlack-E, a venue that has been at the heart of Liverpool’s art scene since the late 1960s. Not to be missed, Beauty and the Beast promises all-out magic and sparkle in a show that will appeal to families of all ages.
Drops of Light CIC are a community focused theatre production company. Beauty and the Beast will be created through collaboration between professional actors and creatives who will work alongside community groups guiding them through workshops run by a range of industry professionals to create a unique full-scale show.
